I am originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. I lived there until I moved to Davis, California to complete my undergraduate and veterinary degrees. After my graduation in 1996, my partner and I then moved down to Santa Cruz where I practiced for two years at a small animal hospital. I joined Adobe Animal Hospital in May 1998.

In addition to our two dogs, we have a cockatiel, two sulcata tortoises, and a leopard tortoise. I enjoy working with cats and dogs, but I have a special interest in working with reptiles, birds, and pocket pets.
