Pets: Ten year old Rottweiler / Golden mix, Jordan and a five year old Dingo-like dog, Ollie.

Although being a veterinarian was a "no-brainer" for me, it did not come easily. When I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1994 with a B.S. in biology, I realized I still did not have the veterinary experience and additional courses required for vet school. Even though I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses, it took me a couple years to prepare for vet school. In the meantime, I discovered California and became a permanent transplant from the Midwest. I attended vet school at UC Davis and focused on cats, dogs, and horses.

After graduation in 2003, I completed a one year internship focusing on equine lameness, surgery and preventative care. I am delighted to be working with small animals again and feel lucky to be part of the Adobe community as I feel the quality of doctors, staff, facilities, and of course, clients are exceptional. My special interests include general cat and dog medicine, surgery, and diagnostic ultrasound.

I currently share a home in Palo Alto with my husband Andy, my baby daughter, and my two sweet dogs. My interests outside of veterinary medicine include horseback riding, hiking, snow boarding and spending time with family and friends.
