I am originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. I lived there until I moved to Davis, California to complete my undergraduate and veterinary degrees. After my graduation in 1996, I moved to Santa Cruz where I practiced for two years at a small animal hospital. I joined Adobe Animal Hospital in May 1998.

In the past, to gain a lot of hands on experience, I have had many exotic pets from ball pythons, bearded dragons, sulcata tortoises, rainbow boa, day geckos, cockatiels, savannah monitors, king snakes, to even a hedgehog.

My partner and I currently live in San Jose with our boys (dogs) and girls (chickens). The chickens have been a very fun recent addition to our family. My interests outside of the hospital include cooking, gardening, reading and playing volleyball. I do like to stay active and enjoy being outdoors.
