I began practicing at Adobe Animal Hospital immediately after graduating from UC Davis' School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. At that time Adobe had five veterinarians. They were a group of talented veterinarians who worked together to share their knowledge and skills to help each other with treating patients. They were (and still are) amazing mentors. Since then, Adobe has grown to more than twenty-five veterinarians. The hospital still has the same philosophy of sharing our knowledge and skills with each other to provide exceptional patient care. Prior to veterinary school, I attended undergraduate school at San Francisco State and Michigan State Universities.

I enjoy general medicine and soft tissue surgery. I also like to work with our endoscope and perform abdominal ultrasound. I have special interest in rabbit and ferret medicine and surgery. Recently, I became a member of the Ferret Education Foundation, which is hard at work getting ferrets legalized in California and educating the public on proper care of ferrets.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband Stan and my two teenage boys Steven and Kevin. We spend a lot of time at the boys sporting events, the beach, traveling, reading and enjoying time at home. I enjoy working in the garden and taking care of my pond.p>
