At age four, I told my mom I wanted to be a garbage collector because it looked fun. At age thirteen, I told my mom I wanted to be a veterinarian because I like animals she was relieved. At age fifteen, I started volunteering at Adobe and found that I truly enjoy working with animals. By sixteen, I had a job cleaning cages. In 1986, I moved to Davis and spent five years getting a B.S. degree. During this time I met my wife Dawn. In 1992 I started vet school at UC Davis. Vet school was much more intense than undergraduate studies, but the memories and experiences were well worth it.

After graduating, my wife and I moved back to the peninsula. I began working as a veterinarian at Adobe, and I have been happy ever since. I really enjoy working with people and their pets and do not see myself getting bored with my career choice. My wife and I had our first child in 1998, so most of my free time is spent babysitting. Currently I am trying to teach Brian to enjoy jogging, put up with record shopping, and take long naps.
