Hello! My name is Charisse Ongie-Cha (you can also call me Dr O-Cha) and I am very excited to be at Adobe!

I am originally from Hawaii, where I grew up with pretty much all the animals you could imagine: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, cockatiels, chameleons, turtles, and even the occasional newt. With my love for animals, I decided early on in life to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

I went to Colorado State University both for undergraduate and DVM degrees (go Rams!). I then completed an internship at Denver Animal Shelter, where I was able to provide much needed veterinary care for the Denver community and its stray animals. I treated thousands of animals, and I performed hundreds of spays and neuters, dental procedures (many requiring full mouth extractions), and other soft tissue surgeries. With the case load I had, my love of surgery and dentistry began.

I am a huge foodie! Outside of work, you can find me trying out the newest restaurants.

I am passionate for helping the community, and I am excited to continue doing so through my position at Adobe Animal Hospital!
