Special Interests:  Internal Medicine and Emergency & Critical Care

Pets:  A sweet old red nosed terrier mix named Jane

Born and raised in southern California with a short stint back east, I am happy to be back on the best coast, calling California home once again! I grew up in Santa Monica and completed both my undergraduate and doctoral work at the University of California Davis.  While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I competed on the UC Davis women’s rowing team and studied abroad in Sienna, Italy. While in Sienna, I developed a true love for Italian culture and wine! I graduated with a degree in sociology and worked in customer service and sales. Unfulfilled with this career path and a lifetime of passion for animals and science, I followed my dream of becoming a veterinarian.  After graduating from veterinary school, I traveled to the east coast and completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. After learning that Jane (my sweet old dog) would not walk in sub 15-degree weather, we decided it was time to return to sunny CA.

I could not be more thankful to be a part of the strong team at Adobe Animal Hospital, where I can practice high quality medicine in a collegial environment. I have a strong interest in internal medicine and emergency and critical care. My daily intention is to the enhance the lives of our patients and their parents by delivering quality medicine and sound communication as we navigate through the diagnostic and treatment options that best fit your family.

Outside of the hospital, I can be found in the mountains; hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter!
