Pets: Makua, the family dog

 

I grew up in San Jose, CA and attended veterinary school at UC Davis. I fell in love with emergency medicine, as well as surgery and internal medicine cases during my clinical year. I managed to make it through the entirety of veterinary school without picking up a pet of my own, but I steal the family dog, Makua, frequently for adventures.

 

I enjoy doing anything outdoors, but particularly love hiking, wakeboarding, and scuba diving!
