I am thrilled to be back with the Adobe family! I was an ICU technician before attending veterinary school at UC Davis. I graduated in 2012 and have been in general practice and emergency medicine in the Bay Area since that time.
Veterinary medicine is actually my second career. My undergraduate degree is in engineering and I worked in the tech industry for many years. During that time I volunteered at a local shelter in the medical department and realized that I really want to do what the doctors were doing! I still spend time at the shelter, albeit a different one, performing surgeries and fostering pets with special medical needs. I find helping people and their pets to be extremely rewarding.
My special interests include dentistry, surgery, and feline medicine (hey, when you have as many cats as we do, you learn out of necessity…) Outside of work I can likely be found skiing, mountain biking, or going to the gym.
