I was born and raised in Voronezh, Russia. For as long as I can remember, I was charmed by animals and intrigued to learn about them. Eventually, my love towards animals led me to
pursue a career as a veterinarian. I graduated from Voronezh State Agriculture University in Russia with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006. During my school years, I also volunteered at a local cat club and, at that time, I learned about feline genetics (not that I remember much by now) and breeds. I moved to San Francisco shortly after graduating from vet school as I was young and was looking for adventures. For the first few years, I studied English and worked at all kinds of jobs (security guard, waitress, barista, nanny). When my English improved, I started working as a
technician at Ocean Avenue Veterinary Hospital in San Francisco while simultaneously preparing for vet exams for my diploma validation. At that time, I was also writing educational articles about feline diseases for a Russian feline magazine for cat breeders. After completing all the exams required to validate my diploma, I started practicing as a veterinarian at the same
hospital. I made a decision to join Adobe in fall 2019 because of its unique structure, opportunity to grow (especially in areas of my professional interests) and preparedness to provide the best care to patients. I'm very happy to start a new chapter in my life with Adobe and look forward to many years together. My professional interests include surgery, internal medicine and feline medicine.

At home, I have my beautiful old lady-cat named Marusya. I have a soft spot for sighthounds dogs and hoping to get one in the future. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, traveling, leisure horse riding, photographing, reading, going to the theater, ballet and rock concerts.
