I have spent most of my adult life in Boston and New York City, but have always dreamed of moving to California and I am so happy to have finally made that dream a reality! I grew up in Connecticut, and stayed close to home by attending Wesleyan University where I studied biology. Shortly after graduating from Wesleyan my cat, Smudge, suddenly fell ill. Smudge and I were helped tremendously by our veterinarian and a specialist. Working with these talented and kind individuals helped me realize that a life caring for animals and their owners was for me.

I had a blast working in several roles in veterinary medicine, starting as a kennel assistant, becoming a technician, and ultimately earning my DVM! My journey in veterinary medicine has been a rich and rewarding experience. Over the years, I have developed a strong interest in client communication and education – I truly believe that the best medicine is done when a positive and trusting relationship is prioritized. I also love dentistry and surgery.

I am so excited to get to know you and all your wonderful animals. I look forward to walking beside you and helping you navigate your pet’s veterinary care – from that adorable and fun first visit through any challenging times that might follow.

When I am not in the clinic you can find me at the local rock climbing gyms – or not-so-local cliffs – with my husband (and belay partner) Eliot. I also love cooking and taking care of my numerous plants!
